The Orlett AV-309 bandage fixes the anterior abdominal wall, thereby promoting early activation of patients in the postoperative period, reducing pain in the postoperative scar. While reducing stress on the postoperative scar, the orthosis prevents early postoperative complications, such as eventration, suture line disruption, occurence of conditions for the formation of ventral hernias. Large size bandages AV-309, starting with XL, are equipped with a double right valve for a wearing comfort.
